With nCorornaVirus (COVID-19) retaining footholds in most countries and with new variants appearing globally we continue to operate our internal hygiene procedures (intra-day regular cleaning of all common areas at our offices as well as keys, bags and vehicles) as well as at our client premises. These include targetting specific commonly used features such as light switches, door handles, door plates, taps etc. We also continue to identify staff deemed to be at higher risk of being infected outside of work as well as those who cohabit with persons likely to be less likely to ward off the virus.
We have brought into stock significant amounts of additional cleaning chemicals as well as PPE to be used throughout our client base for the duration. In addition we clean all cloths & mops at 90 Degrees Centigrade and disinfect our washing machines regularly. The Isle of Man Government has followed the UK lead and significant data can easily be found through either Government's websites. Why is the mitigation of risk so important to us? Simply put in certain extreme circumstances we could be part of the transmission of infection to our staff and their families & friends as well as our clients' premises and their employees & families. We have mitigated the risk as best we can. We did so from mid-February 2020 onwards. We concur with & fully support the current Isle of Man Government advice to Businesses. |
